And speaking of January premieres, ABC has announced that Lost will return a month earlier than expected on Wednesday, January 21st with two new episodes back-to-back. However, the real buzz about the show right now is focusing on the official season five poster released by ABC yesterday. See any clues?
In other ABC news, the alphabet network did some slashing this week and shit-canned three popular, but ratings challenged, series: Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies, and Eli Stone. All three series were cut short during last year's writer's strike and despite their season two renewals, they just couldn't find an audience. However, one new show is making the grade and ABC has extended freshman drama Life on Mars to a 17 episode order. It's one of the better new shows this season. So check it out and hopefully ABC will give it the back 5 for a full 22.
That's all I got for this week. If you're looking for something good to watch this weekend, then Sunday evening is your night with Entourage (the season five finale) and 24: Redemption (the two hour season seven prequel).

24 prequel = a little story to explain Jack's absence while 24 nation suffered through the WGA strike, and Keifer Sutherland's rehab/jail stint, but now I'm stuck with another 45days before the "real" 24 comes back...
Honestly could have skipped this, but something about Jack saving the world and it's children from terrorist chaos and certain destruction by poppin some knee caps and averting top US Government authoritarians with just brute force and the most amazing PDA in the history of mankind is just too darn good.
I like to think that every true American is a little like Jack in the following ways.
1. Our disdain for elected officials.
2. Our top superiors are always moronic scumbags who constantly make bad decisions just like Jack's
3. Tell me you don't at least think "suicide bomber" when someone wearing a towel on their head hops on your bus
4. Russian, Chinese, or Korean, you name it Communists are bad news
5. Similar to Ninjas, Terrorists are everywhere
ahhh yes, I do love 24
Damages season 2 is done, and WOW - best written show out there.
24 - can't wait til' the FBI and President finally come around to endorsing torture of few when millions of lives are at stake
Fringe is back this week... 2 things I'd like to see
- Less Joshua Jackson
- More Olivia (Anna Torv) stripping down and getting wet in that memory retrieval tank
